Profhilo is a well-recognised and extremely popular treatment worldwide. This beautiful injectable treatment stimulates natural collagen and elasticity while deeply hydrating the skin, whilst being minimally invasive and generally requiring no downtime. This treatment improves hydration, overall skin tone and appearance, and skin quality by restoring natural glow and radiance.

How it works:
As we age, our natural Collagen, Elastin, and Hyaluronic Acid production decrease – meaning our skin loses its composition, firmness, and hydration.

When injected over two sessions (an initial session, followed by a follow-up session 4 weeks later) Profhilo disperses through the skin layers over the 4-week period, stimulating collagen and elastin production and deeply internally hydrating the skin.

This allows the cells to remodel skin laxity and ageing tissue. Profhilo does not add volume making it somewhat different from dermal fillers but instead provides intense moisturisation for renewed, restored, and refreshed skin texture.

During your consultation, an indicated area will be discussed.

Results last between 6 -12 months depending on the individual, we recommend a follow-up treatment every 6 – 9 months to maintain the best results.

What to expect from your treatment.

Consultation: All of our Cosmetic Injectable treatments require a free consultation with a cosmetic injector at your local Cosmetic Clinic. They will help you to establish if Profhilo is a beneficial treatment for you and answer any questions before you embark on your skin journey. During your consultation, an indicated area will be discussed.

During your Treatment: Firstly your Cosmetic Injector will talk you through the steps of the treatment and what to expect. Profhilo will then be injected in small deposits at different points in the face and /or neck.

After your treatment: We would expect you to be able to see these deposits initially but they will usually settle within a couple of days. It may also be possible for some clients to see where the product has been injected under the skin, this will also settle within a couple of days and there is no need to massage these areas.

What to expect from this treatment: The results from this treatment can be harder to see via an image and are not instantaneous. Personal identifiers include improvement in skin texture, firmness, and a noticeably healthier glow. This varies for individuals and external factors can influence these results.

Profhilo stimulates all layers of tissue with its high spreadability, promoting a multi-level remodeling approach.

It is important to complete the advised two treatments, as changes can be more noticeable after the second treatment.

What are the indicators for use?

This treatment is beneficial for people who are noticing a change in their skin laxity. Profhilo is great for clients who are looking for ageing preventatives, to encourage and support continuous collagen production and tissue support.

Is Profhilo right for me?

As we age, the hydrating substance within our skin naturally reduces and the natural elasticity and firmness of the skin therefore declines. As most people reach their 30’s they begin to see the effects of this depletion in hydration – if you are looking to counteract this decline Profhilo Bio Remodelling is an excellent treatment.

What results can I expect?

Profhilo Bio Remodelling is an injectable treatment, performed by a cosmetic injector in clinic after a consultation. To achieve maximum results, Profhilo is injected just under the mid-dermis layer on each side of the face & neck in five pre-determined locations. Personal identifiers include improvement in skin texture, firmness, and a noticeably healthier glow.

Are there any side effects?

This treatment requires no downtime. 24 hours before treatment it is advisable to avoid aspirin, alcohol, and anti-inflammatory medication. Side effects are uncommon but can include redness, small bumps, bruising, and mild tenderness post-treatment.

What is the difference between Profhilo Bio Remodelling and Dermal Fillers?

Profhilo Bio Remodeling does not add volume to the face and is not a dermal filler. Its role is to hydrate deeply into the skin and improve skin resilience and elasticity. Containing a natural product that absorbs water Profhilo keeps the skin hydrated, however, it will not replace lost volume as a dermal filler will.

Does this treatment hurt?

This injectable Hyaluronic Acid does not have lidocaine in it. We can offer a topical numbing cream if pain is a concern. Many of our customers liken it to having an antiwrinkle treatment.

Who is eligible for this treatment?

This treatment is suitable for all skin types and ages. During your initial consultation, it may be recommended to have a third-loading dose treatment if it is determined there is severe skin laxity.

How long do results last?

Results will last anywhere between 6 – 12 months depending on the individual, with a recommendation to follow up with another treatment every 6-9 months to maintain results.
