No vaccinations for up to two weeks post your treatment.

Note- Following treatment, you may experience redness, swelling and tenderness in the treatment area. This is normal and will resolve within 24-48 hours.

Bruising at the injection site is normal and should clear within ten days.

The treatment area may have the appearance of ‘unevenness’ immediately following treatment, due to swelling and bruising. This will settle. If any unevenness remains after ten days, please contact the clinic for a review appointment.

Viral infections such as cold sores may be reactivated by some treatments. We advise taking L-lysine daily for two to three days prior to and after your treatment if you do have a history of cold sores.

If your cold sores do reactivate, which is uncommon, your GP can prescribe medication to assist healing of the breakout.
