This advanced technology creates 1,920 micro-channels per second, allowing deeper absorption of active ingredients for optimal results. Your skin therapist will customise the treatment depth to suit your skin’s needs and choose the most effective serum to address your concerns
For darker skin tones, pre-treatment preparation using skincare may be required. We recommend using Aesthetics Rx Ultimate Serum for 2–4 weeks before your appointment, to achieve the best results from your treatment.

48 Hours Prior
- No cosmetic injections in the treatment area.
3 Days Prior
- No recent sun exposure and sunbeds.
- Stop using cosmeceutical retinol and AHA/BHA.
2 Weeks Prior
- Topical prescription retinol or whitening creams must be stopped two weeks prior.
- Must not have an active cold sore.
- No waxing, laser or IPL in the area.
- Some skin types are required to apply the recommended Balense & Aesthetics Rx Skincare products to strengthen & hydrate the skin reducing the risk of adverse reactions, such as irritation, inflammation & hyperpigmentation.
- You cannot be taking medication that contain Isotretinoin. If you have taken Accutane, or any other acne drug, Microneedling should be avoided for six months after use has ceased.
Please tell your therapist if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. - No Dermal Fillers within the last 4 weeks.
Immediately Post Treatment
- Apply the recommended Balense or Aesthetics Rx post treatment homecare as required.
- Do not use SPF/Sunscreen on the day of the treatment.
12 Hours Post
- Do not pick the skin as this could lead to hyper/hypopigmentation or scarring.
24 Hours Post
- Keep cool.
- Keep hydrated, increase water intake to 8 glasses per day.
- Avoid steam, saunas and spa pools.
- Avoid exercise and swimming.
- Avoid any activities that would cause excessive perspiration.
1-3 Days Post
- Apply the recommended Balense Bouncee Repair Cleanser and Herbi Recovery Face Cream to Cream to calm and hydrate the skin and SPF50+ sunscreen.
5 Days Post
- Post treatment; resume with personalised prescription of Balense or Aesthetics Rx homecare.
- Gently exfoliate using Balense or Aesthetics Rx exfoliator.
7 Days Post
- Do not apply any topical prescription creams to the treated area for 7 days.
- No cosmetic injectable treatments.
- Avoid sun exposure and Sunbeds.

How many MesoInfus™ Microneedling sessions are required for best results?
The number of sessions varies based on individual needs and concerns. Typically, 3–6 sessions are recommended for optimal results.
Is there any downtime after a MesoInfus™ Microneedling treatment?
After MesoInfus™ Microneedling, there may be mild redness, swelling, and possible pinpoint bleeding. These effects typically subside within 24–48 hours. It’s advisable to avoid makeup and sun exposure during the recovery period.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects are usually mild and temporary, including redness, swelling, and slight bruising. Rarely, there may be infection or scarring if proper aftercare isn’t followed.
Do I need to prepare my skin before MesoInfus™ Microneedling?
If you have a darker skin tone (Skin Type IV+), it’s important to prepare your skin to reduce the risk of pigmentation. We recommend using Aesthetics Rx Ultimate Serum for 2–4 weeks before your appointment, along with daily SPF, to protect your skin and achieve the best results.
