The HydrateRx MediFacial offers three customisable steps, allowing you to tailor the treatment to your skin’s unique needs and preferences.
Exfoliation Step:
- We use the Aesthetics Rx Bio fermented Triple Action Scrub for a deep yet gentle exfoliation.
- For sensitive skin, this can be swapped for the Enzyme MediPeel.
- If you prefer a more intensive exfoliation, the Exfoliating MediPeel is an option. (Note: Steam cannot be used if a MediPeel is chosen in place of physical exfoliation.)
Massage Step:
- This step features Hyaluronic Acid and Aesthetics Rx Pre-Juvenation DNA Oil for deep nourishment.
- Choose from two massage techniques: anti-ageing or relaxation depending on your skincare goals.
Serum Step: Your therapist will recommend the best option for your skin:
- Aesthetics Rx B Serum for hydration and barrier support.

3 Days Prior
- No recent sun exposure and sunbeds.
1 Week Prior
- No Anti-wrinkle, Profhilo, or PRP injections in the treatment area. No waxing, laser, or IPL in the area.
2 Weeks Prior
- No Dermal Fillers in the treatment area. Must not have active cold sores. No preparation with active home care is needed.
4 Weeks Prior
- No PDO Threads in the treatment area.
24 Hours Post
- Keep cool.
- Keep hydrated, increase water intake to 8 glasses per day.
- Avoid steam, saunas, and spa pools.
- Avoid exercise and swimming.
- Avoid any activities that would cause excessive perspiration.
1-5 Days Post
- Continue with prescribed Balense or Aesthetics Rx homecare and SPF50+ sunscreen.
- Avoid use of cosmeceutical retinol. Avoid exfoliation.
5 Days Post
- Gently exfoliate using Balense or Aesthetics Rx exfoliating homecare.
