What are the benefits of Dermaplaning?

After Dermaplaning, will my “peach-fuzz” grow back thicker?

Vellus hairs, can trap dirt, oil, and other foreign particles. Removing this fine “peach-fuzz” encourages cleaner, smoother skin, and unlike shaving thicker hairs, these finer hairs do not grow back darker or thicker.

Is Dermaplaning safe for pregnant woman?

Dermaplaning is safe for all skin types and is especially safe for pregnant women and women who are breast feeding, as there is no use of chemicals that can be absorbed into the bloodstream and transferred to the baby.

How long are Dermaplaning treatments and is there downtime?

Treatment time for Dermaplaning is 30 minutes and unlike other treatments, such as chemical peels, there is no downtime needed, so you can apply your active products and make up straight after without having to wait a few days. Slight redness can occur and dryness and minor flaking can be experienced a few days post-treatment due to the increased skin cell turnover. Exfoliation 5 days post treatment will help remove any flakey dead skin.
